The ADVs of SOAL rely on the telemarketing forces of Fermiers du Sud-Ouest to innovate their service

When the synergy of services sparks ideas: the Sales Administration Departments (ADV) of Sud Ouest Aliment rely on the telemarketing strengths of Fermiers du Sud Ouest to innovate their service.

Within the Maïsadour group, collective strength is revealed in the union of skills and the exchange of expertise. It is in this spirit that the ADV SOAL team, led by Laurence Ferret and comprising 25 collaborators spread across all production sites, works on an innovative approach by broadening its traditional role of Sales Administration (ADV).

A new approach to add value

Faced with the need to emphasize skills and strengthen knowledge, a wind of change has blown over the ADV service.

The main idea? No longer just content with the classic entry of orders but to bring real added value by complementing the work of traditional teams. A lever to strengthen the expertise of teams without encroaching on the work already done by technical sales representatives.

The proposal is structured around several axes:

Sale of small high-margin products: identification of products easily deliverable by Swift messaging – such as cans or buckets – which offer an interesting margin.
Anticipation of end-of-life products: a proactive approach aimed at selling off clearance or near-expiry items.
Promotional support: setting up dedicated phoning to highlight promotional offers and help raise awareness of new products.

An inspiring exchange of experiences

To initiate this new dynamic, SOAL organized a morning of exchange and immersion at Fermeirs Landais in Saint-Sever. Welcomed by Laurence Lebeaupin, head of customer service, a delegation from the ADV SOAL team was able to see firsthand the daily life of traditional sector telemarketers: butchers/delicatessens/caterers
This visit showed that the effectiveness of telemarketing relies on attentive listening to customer objections and rigorous monitoring of performance indicators.

Concrete projects and a Corporate spirit

Strengthened by these exchanges, the ADV teams of SOAL are mobilizing to add a string to the bow of their function, with enthusiasm and motivation remaining palpable.
This cross-collaboration illustrates the corporate spirit of the Maïsadour group: being inspired by each other’s best practices, sharing know-how and experiences to better meet tomorrow’s challenges together.

A big thank you is thus addressed to the FSO team for its warm welcome and sharing of expertise!
