Movember at SOAL: A Month Dedicated to Raising Awareness of Men’s Health!

Over the past month, an awareness campaign was carried out as part of Movember. Rolled out across all employees of the Agricultural Division, this initiative generated strong engagement and helped shine a spotlight on the important issue of men’s health.

A collective mobilization across all sites

At the end of October, the QHSE department of the Agricultural Division sent a message to all employees listing the planned Movember activities. The objective was simple: “to break taboos, encourage dialogue, and promote prevention in men’s health.”
The program included a quiz on men’s health, the moustache challenge (taking a photo with a real or fake moustache), as well as various educational materials enabling teams to exchange ideas among themselves or at the initiative of their manager, as was the case across all sites and factories.

But why take a photo with a moustache? Because this fun symbol catches attention… and opens the door to conversations about issues that truly matter.

All in Blue, All Moustachioed…

…this was the theme chosen by the SOAL teams in Auch to support their awareness campaign. They made a Movember information pack available in the break room and invited the entire site to take part in a group photo.
Across the different sites, awareness breakfasts were organized so that everyone could ask questions, share experiences, and feel comfortable talking about men’s health—a topic that is still too often taboo.

A big thank you!

The QHSE team would like to thank SOAL employees for their commitment, which gave full meaning to this Movember initiative and strengthened our prevention efforts. Let’s continue to stay attentive to our own health, to that of our colleagues, and to encourage open dialogue.

Together, let’s move prevention forward!
