SOAL warns livestock farmers about an ongoing fraud using its identity.

Malicious individuals are posing as representatives of the company and offering forage for sale to livestock farmers.

They advertise their offers on social media platforms (Facebook, etc.) and on Leboncoin. All of our subsidiaries may be affected, as is currently the case with Quérial.

The scheme is always the same: an exceptionally attractive quotation is provided, and a deposit is requested before delivery. Once payment has been made, the goods are never delivered and the fraudsters become unreachable.

SOAL reminds farmers that it is a victim of this identity theft and urges them to exercise the utmost vigilance. If there is any doubt regarding a commercial offer or a payment request, farmers are advised to contact their usual SOAL representative directly.

Given the current forage market situation, other companies may also be targeted by this type of fraud.
